| The basic syringe design is such that, in storage the drug comes in contact with glass only. For injection the caps are removed. The syringe nozzle has spiral microgroove to provide grip to the needle and prevent leakage even under high pressure. In addition there is a clamp arrangement. The piston and stepped retention device is special. As the surgeon applies the force the spring in the piston compresses and then the spring releases with a snap to give an impulse pumping pressure. | |
