A process for the preparation of pure metal form metal salts

 A new chemical route with a reducing agent of nascent Al-metal is discovered for extraction a pure metal powder from metal salt. An activated self induced co-reduction reaction of dispersed metal cations in an aqueous solution occurs as soon as an Al-metal plate with freshly created nascent surfaces is immersed in the solution at 0 to 50C. it yields a finely divided loose metal powder. That self separates from solution and settles down in the container and thus easily recovered by decanting and wishing with distilled water. The process is applied for iron, cobalt, nickel, copper, tin or silver. Particle size can be varied over a wide range from a micrometer to a nanometer scale according to initial dispersion of metal cations and other experimental conditions.
