| The search for safe, cost effective, broad spectrum potent immuno adjuvants are in progress for immunization of laboratory animals (mice, rabbits etc.) for raising high titre, specific polyclonal antibody. Our findings indicate that heat denatured abrus agglutinin and toxin are better adjuvant and these are easy to handle due to aqueous solubility and no need of making emulsion with the antigen. There is a possibility to use these protein adjuvants as carrier system as well as immuno adjuvants for haptens. | |
